Founded in September 2020 by Lauren Poole, Honeyfire Literary Magazine is an independent literary and arts publication all about celebrating the strength in vulnerability. We believe there's nothing more powerful than letting yourself be soft.
Our first column, UNTOLD, is a space for stories often silenced or ignored in society, and features new pieces every Monday and Friday.
Filled with paintings, Polaroids, first loves in American August haze, poems about postcards never sent & goodbyes never said, MILK TEETH is the perfect companion to the end of summer & all that leaves with it.
Aiming to continue the conversation sparked by the Sarah Everard case, Most Girls is an unflinching exploration of what it means to be a woman or femme-aligned person today.
If you like the work I'm doing here, there are a few ways you can support!
The first is submitting - Honeyfire wouldn't exist without the artwork and trust of incredible writers and artists like you.
You can also show your support on social media - every story reshare, comment, and retweet is deeply appreciated, and helps us grow our audience and find more talent!
Lastly, if you enjoy Honeyfire and are financially able, you can donate directly via the button below. This magazine is run single-handedly by a low-income LGBTQ+ creator, and all donations help me to pay for the website, as well as to continue to have the time and resources to do this!
Any and all support means the absolute world to me. I've achieved more with Honeyfire than I ever thought possible, and that's because of you guys. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
